About Us

Scrubs Surgical Wear was started by Caroline Power in early 2013. Caroline was a veterinary nurse for 10 years before starting Scrubs Surgical Wear. The company started out of a sheer need to source affordable, stylish, comfortable, quality and well-fitted uniforms and scrubs.  Sourcing all these qualities was difficult to find in any one product, so Caroline started making her own scrubs and uniforms. In relatively short time friends and colleagues starting requesting and ordering from her, and the business started growing from there, to where it is today, a company providing clients countrywide, and internationally, with quality scrubs and uniforms, and a reason to feel good about getting dressed for work!

We have sourced what we feel is the best quality fabric. We pride ourselves on continuously striving to provide our clients with the best range of products possible. We are constantly developing, designing and manufacturing exactly what we feel are superior quality Scrubs, Doctor’s Jackets and Uniforms that are both comfortable and stylish.

We believe that if you look good you generally feel good too. Just because you’re at work doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style, quality or comfort. We are excited and proud to provide you with our surgical wear and uniform range.

Thank you for taking the time out to explore our range.

In Stock Products:

Our in stock products are available for immediate delivery. We carry limited quantities of in stock products and some are limited range fabrics and are only available while stocks last. Some items can be made up as pre-order items if we have fabric, so if you see something you like that is not in stock, please contact us to enquire if it is possible to make it up as made to order.

Made To Order Products:

Our made to order styles are made to order according to the size and colour you choose, so we work on a 14 -21 working day turn around time for our standard orders.  We deliver anywhere in South Africa with a reliable courier service for a nominal fee.

The colour chart below is for Poplin fabric. Poplin is the fabric we use for all our standard orders. It is a 65/35 poly/cotton.  It is a lightweight, breathable and high-quality fabric.  It is extremely comfortable and washes and tumble-dries with no shrinkage or fading. Other fabric and colours are available when placing custom orders.

We also offer the service of embroidery of your name and logo on your scrubs, uniforms and theatre caps (* Minimum orders do apply for embroidery). Any other specific requirements you have, give us a call and we will do our best to make it happen.
